Bei dieser Rezertifizierung wird gleich an drei unterschiedlichen Standorten auditiert: 2 x in Stuttgart und 1 x in Ahrensburg. Als Prüfgrundlage gilt die ISO 9001:2015, dem Qualitätsmanagementsystem. Im Dienste des Herzogs arbeite ich nicht (wie auf dem Bild zu sehen), sondern im Namen der Zertifizierungsgesellschaft, die mich beauftragt hat. Denn als externer Auditor erhält man die Aufträge in der Regel von der Zertifizierungsgesellschaft und wird erst dann kontakt zum Kunden aufnehmen.
Das zu auditierende Unternehmen ist bereits nach vielen anderen Standards auditiert worden und kann viele Zertifikate vorweisen. Als Kernprozess, nämlich den zentralisierten Ort zur Speicherung, Verarbeitung und Verwaltung großer Datenmengen zur Verfügung zu stellen, auditiere ich die Prozesse, sehe mir Nachweise an und führe eine Begehung durch.
Im Abstand von einer Woche auditiere ich zuerst in Stuttgart und reise dann nach Ahrensburg bei Hamburg. Da es sich um eine Rezertifizierung handelt, muss die komplette ISO 9001 auditiert werden. Sehr interessant sind für mich die unterschiedlichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort, die nach „Stand der Technik“ (State of the Art) natürlich unterschiedlich behandelt werden müssen.
Mit hat das Audit viel Spaß gemacht, danke für die gute Zusammenarbeit.

Quality inspection in Stuttgart and Ahrensburg: ISO 9001 recertification
This recertification involves audits at three different locations: 2 x in Stuttgart and 1 x in Ahrensburg in Germany. The basis for the audit is ISO 9001:2015, the quality management system. I am not working on behalf of the Duke (as you can see in the picture), but on behalf of the certification company that commissioned me. This is because, as an external auditor, you usually receive the orders from the certification company and only then will you contact the customer.
The company to be audited has already been audited according to many other standards and has many certificates. As the core process, namely providing the centralised location for storing, processing and managing large amounts of data, I audit the processes, look at evidence and carry out an inspection.
At one-week intervals, I first audit in Stuttgart and then travel to Ahrensburg near Hamburg. As this is a recertification, the entire ISO 9001 must be audited. What I find very interesting are the different conditions on site, which of course have to be treated differently according to the ‘state of the art’.
